Oberon is surrounded by interesting villages and National Parks. Jenolan Caves, Kanangra Boyd National Park, Blue Mountains National Park and Abercrombie River National Park are all close to the Titania Motel and contain spectacular scenery. The Titania Motel is a perfect base from which to undertake day trips to the various villages and attractions within the region.

Both Rainbow and Brown trout can be found in the area. Lake Oberon is located just minutes from Titania Motel and is regularly stocked and fish are easily caught there. Both species can also be caught in the streams.

Consisting mainly of a sandstone plateau, the area is dissected by gorges up to 760 metres (2,490 ft) deep. A large part of the Blue Mountains is incorporated into the Greater Blue Mountains Area World Heritage Site, consisting of seven national park areas and a conservation reserve.
